Membership Drive

American Legion Post 511 invites all area Veterans to join us in supporting the United States military, Veterans, and our local communities. If your local Legion post is no longer active, consider transferring your membership to Post 511. Since 1919, the American Legion has upheld four pillars of service: Fostering National Security, Caring for Veterans, Mentoring Youth, and Promoting Patriotism and Honor.

Ridgeland Post 511 proudly maintains an honor guard for veterans' military salutes and offers opportunities to serve and connect with the community. Honorably discharged Veterans, active-duty service members, and National Guard members with recent active-duty service are eligible to join.

Veterans Memorial Park Dedication

The Veterans Memorial Park was dedicated on September 21, 2019, in a heartfelt ceremony honoring our local veterans. This special event brought together community members, veterans, and their families to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. The park stands as a lasting symbol of gratitude and respect, providing a serene space for reflection and remembrance.
